Welcome to the website of Transdev Yellow Buses and the home of Carbon Stoppers, the UK’s first initiative aimed at boosting bus use and raising money for local good causes.

the brighter bus company

Have you travelled yet on what’s been described as ‘bus travel fit for the 21st century’? We’re talking about our new £1.3 million flagship Versa fleet providing luxury travel between Somerford and Bournemouth on Service 1.

TYB Versa BusLeather seats, flat wood effect floors and well spaced upright posts and seat integral grab handles. All combine to make the Versa easy and safe to enter, especially for those with reduced mobility. We think the buses have a real ‘wow’ factor but see what you think. As always, we enjoy hearing your views.

A big thanks to everyone for helping to get our new Carbon Stoppers initiative off to a flying start. The first cheque for £200 from this innovative scheme has been presented to a local good cause, Cherry Tree Nursery, and plenty more will follow in coming months
.

TYB Versa Bus InteriorRemember each week we’re having a ‘Thank You Thursday’ when every trip taken on the day contributes to a Community Chest.

We’ve pledged a minimum donation of £50 per week with the money available to schools, community groups and good causes. Echo readers are being invited to nominate a worthy cause or charity.

So the more people who travel with us on a Thursday the more money will go into our Community Chest and be available to local good causes.

If you’re not a regular traveller with Transdev Yellow Buses then why not give us a try on a Thursday?

Carbon Stoppers is just one more reason to travel on the ‘Yellows.’ We look forward to seeing you on one of our services soon.
