Loyal bus passenger wins a year's free travel
LOYAL bus passenger Simon Clark is ‘Glo-ing’ with pride after winning a year’s free travel on Yellow Buses (YB).

He won the prize after becoming one of the first people to sign up for YB’s new Glo smart card.
Simon, who lives in Boscombe, uses six buses a day to get to and from his work at Hugh Symons Group in Poole where he’s a Senior Account Manager.
“I’ve used the buses for 25 years and I’m very pleased to win this prize,” he said.
Jenni Wilkinson, YB’s Head of Marketing, said: “We’re delighted one of our regular passengers has won a year’s free travel with us.”
The Glo card, designed to make bus travel easier and quicker, can now be used across the YB network.
It replaces the phased out Yellow Cards and is similar in concept to the popular Oyster card in London.
Once received passengers need to add a seven, 30 or 90 day value to the card.
They can ‘top up’ the value at one of over 80 Paypoint outlets across YB’s network area, at the company’s office in Bournemouth Square or on the bus itself.
There is no change to single, return and one day tickets.
Glo smartcards, including Glo 17 for those under 18, are available free on request.
Apply online at www.globybus.co.uk, in person at Yellow Buses travel office in Bournemouth town centre (opposite Boots) or fill out an application form in one of the Glo leaflets available across the area.
