Want to change some settings to make thing more relevant to you?
Choosing to ignore any suggested locations in the leaving or destination box will most often ask you to clarify the correct road or place name, this allows us to correctly plot your destination. By default the journey planner will give you the best route based on the current time and date and some default preference settings, you can tweak all these details to find out how to get where you need at a time that suits you.

You can change your preference for departure versus speed by changing the ‘When would you prefer to start the journey?’ setting.
If you’re not a keen walker then you should play around with the ‘How much walking can we include in the result?’ settings to see if you can reduce the amount of leg work you have to put in.
Changing bus might not always be necessary but may be quicker than talking just one bus all the way, play with the ‘How many changes?’ setting to see if you can’t reduce the journey time further.
