How to supply photos for CitizenCard
The Photograph
What kinds of photo are acceptable?
To be suitable for your proof of age card, your photo must:
- • Be a recent, colour photograph of the head and shoulders, in sharp focus with the entire face visible
- • Show you with a neutral expression with your mouth closed and eyes open, looking directly at the camera • Not show you wearing a hat or anything that covers your face and it must be free of glare from glasses, etc
- • Be taken against a light, plain background
- • Be taken by a Passport Office approved photo service e.g. photo booth, post office, local film processing service, etc. and be reproduced in standard passport size
- • Be submitted loose in an envelope with your application, the envelope to be fixed to your application by means of a paper clip
- • Please do not staple anything to the application form
