MUSICIANS from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) literally blew their own trumpets when they joined forces with Transdev Yellow Buses to promote two big summer events.
A five-strong brass ensemble played a selection of classics alongside a special promotional bus in The Square, Bournemouth.
They were promoting two outdoor concerts, complete with fireworks, which are due to take place in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, in August.
The Symphonic Queen spectacular on August 3 will feature all the group’s hit songs, including Under Pressure, Killer Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody and many more, all rounded off by an impressive firework display.
The following day will feature the 1812 Classical Extravaganza, with a series of classical masterpieces and more fireworks.
Jenni Wilkinson, Transdev Yellow Buses’ Communications and Marketing Manager, said the BSO brass ensemble attracted an appreciative audience of shoppers and passers-by.
“We were delighted that the BSO decided to use our buses to help promote these exciting outdoor concerts,” she added.
