HEAD office staff at Transdev Yellow Buses (TYB) donned their favourite colour for the day in support of a Dorset hospice.
More than 15 employees wore everything from yellow ties – in the case of Derek Lott, Managing Director – to tee-shirts, blouses and shirts.
The action was in support of ‘Wear Yellow Day’ organised by the Lewis-Manning Hospice.
The event was held on June 20, during Hospice Awareness Month, to raise awareness of Lewis-Manning.
The Poole-based hospice provides a free service to more than 600 local people each year living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.
Jenni Wilkinson, TYB’s Head of Marketing, said: “As our whole company revolves around the colour yellow it seemed absolutely right to get involved.”
TYB has also donated a one-year travel pass for the Lewis-Manning Hospice Summer Fete. Tickets are available from the hospice during July and August.
