A NEW murder mystery trail from Transdev Yellow Buses (TYB) could prove just the ticket for budding detectives.
The bus company has teamed up with Treasure Trails Ltd to launch a fictional murder mystery route on its 1a service linking Bournemouth and Somerford.
The trail, which is available for sale at £5, features clues along the route which passengers using an all-day travel Yellowcard can hop on and off to collect.
Local landmarks including Burlington Arcade, Bournemouth & Poole College’s Lansdowne site, Boscombe Gardens and Christchurch Priory are among some of the locations mentioned in the trail.
By following the clues families and individuals taking part in the trail can eliminate up to 20 suspects before eventually coming up with the name of the likely murderer. The activity takes between three and four hours to complete.
Jenni Wilkinson, TYB’s Head of Marketing, said: “This is a great way to explore the area for both locals and visitors alike.
“Treasure Trails has done a wonderful job writing the special murder mystery route and we’re expecting plenty of budding sleuths to enjoy it over coming months.”
Caroline Paul, Manager of Treasure Trails (Dorset), said: “Bournemouth lends itself perfectly to a Treasure Trail following one of Transdev Yellow Bus’ routes.
“This is a great way for the whole family to explore the local area, solve some devious clues, enjoy fresh air and exercise, learn a bit about the local history and have fun at the same time.”
One of our customers says:
