Boost for charity as Yellows turn pink

TRANSDEV Yellow Buses turned pink when big-hearted staff took part in a charity day.

For the seventh year running the Dorset-based company organised a pink mufti day in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

Drivers, engineers and head office staff all entered into the spirit, donning a variety of weird and wacky outfits.

They included pink wigs, pink overalls and pink dresses – and that was just the men!

Jenni Wilkinson, TYB’s Head of Communications, said: “This event seems to get bigger and better and this year was no exception.

“Best of all our passengers entered into the spirit of the day. The sight of some of our drivers in full pink regalia caused much comment and plenty of smiles.”

Transdev Yellow Buses contributed to the charity pot with the day raising a total of £930 for Breast Cancer Care.
