UK’s tallest man scales new heights with TYB

TRANSDEV Yellow Buses scaled new heights with the help of Britain’s tallest man.

Neil Fingleton had little difficulty cleaning the top windows of a TYB double decker thanks to his size – he’s 7ft 7.5 inches tall.

The actor is playing the part of the Giant in the Poole Lighthouse production of Jack and the Beanstalk.

He was joined by Coronation Street’s Rupert Hill and Jenny Platt for a photoshoot highlighting TYB’s support for the show.

The bus company has sponsored the distribution of packets of bean seeds to local schools and groups, promoting the panto.

Neil, 29, is listed as officially the UK’s tallest man in the Guinness Book of Records. He’s also the world’s tallest actor.

His height took off when he reached the age of 11 and was touching 7ft.

By the time Neil was 16 he was 7ft 5 inches and he stopped growing at 18 when he was 7 ft 7.5 inches.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs until January 3, 2010. Ticket details at www.lighthousepoole.co.uk
