YELLOW Buses (YB) is to launch a new service linking Poole and Kinson next month.
Route 27 is the third new service to be launched by the UK’s Shire Operator of the Year in the space of just two weeks.
It will run up to seven times a day Monday to Saturday, connecting Kinson, Bear Cross, Alderney, Newtown, Poole Hospital and Poole bus station. Certain journeys will also include Bearwood.
The new service, which begins on Tuesday May 4, follows the launch of route 29 linking East Dorset and Bournemouth on April 19.
May 4 also sees the start of route 20 serving Poole, Lilliput, Penn Hill, Westbourne, Bournemouth, Glenferness Avenue, Winton, Ripon Road and Castlepoint.
The ‘20’ service, funded by the Borough of Poole and Bournemouth Borough Council, is a combination of the existing ‘53’ and ‘42’ routes.
