Childcare worker wins top of the range £600 iPhone

CHILDCARE worker Lucy Clarke is ‘Glo-ing’ with delight after becoming the proud owner of a top of the range sim free iPhone.

Lucy, a loyal Yellow Buses (YB) passenger, won the £600 internet-enabled smartphone in the company’s Glo competition.

Everyone who applied for a Glo smartcard between last September, when the card was introduced, and April 30 was entered in a draw with Lucy’s name the first one out.

“I’m really pleased. It’s the best thing I’ve ever won,” said Lucy who lives in Bournemouth.

She was presented with her prize by Jenni Wilkinson, YB’s Head of Marketing.

The introduction of Glo cards followed the installation of new electronic ticketing machines on YB’s 110-strong bus fleet.

They are expected to lead to faster boarding, greener ticketing – with one card topped up again and again – and more convenience for passengers.
