Yellows urge people to wear yellow in aid of Lewis-Manning

RAISE money for Poole’s Lewis-Manning Hospice by wearing yellow at your workplace, school, club, church or home this Friday, June 25.

That’s the message from Yellow Buses (YB) which is sponsoring the special day.

To take part, simply invite your colleagues, pupils and friends to wear yellow for the day and ask them to make a £1 donation to Lewis-Manning.

Yellow Buses is inviting its staff to get involved in Friday’s activities by either wearing something yellow or going ‘mufti’ for the day.

Jenni Wilkinson, YB’s Head of Marketing, said: “Lewis-Manning is a wonderful charity which we’re very happy to support.

“As our whole company revolves around the colour yellow it seemed only natural that we sponsor the event.”

‘Wear Yellow Day’ forms part of Hospice Awareness Week aimed at raising awareness of Lewis-Manning and other hospices.

If this Friday doesn’t suit, but yellow does, then ‘Wear Yellow Day’ can be held at another time. Contact the charity’s fundraising team on 01202 701000.
