DRIVERS, engineers and administration staff at Yellow Buses were pretty in pink for a charity day.
For the ninth year running the Dorset-based company organised a pink mufti day in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
Some staff dressed in fancy dress with a pink panther, pink pig and men in pink wigs among the more unusual costumes.
The engineering staff at the main depot in Yeomans Way, Bournemouth, swapped their fluorescent orange overalls for baby pink and one male boss even painted his nails to match!
Jenni Wilkinson, Head of Marketing – who wore a pink mask and stripy pink leggings – said: “Our passengers are used to staff at Yellow Buses getting involved with local charities.
“We’re part of the community, so to see drivers dressed up and wandering to and from their buses in the town centre didn’t seem too out of place.
“As always passengers entered into the spirit of the day and helped us raise a magnificent amount for a worthy cause.”
The day raised £1,074 for Breast Cancer Care with the sum including a company contribution from Yellow Buses.
