YELLOW Buses is celebrating Leap Year Day by giving holders of its long-established Glo smartcards a free day’s travel.
The popular ‘swipe and go’ card was introduced by the Yellows more than two years ago after the installation of new electronic ticketing machines.
The bus company is inviting Glo card holders to call into its town centre enquiry office in Bournemouth (opposite Boots) on Wednesday February 29.
Staff will top up any Glo or Glo 17 cards with an extra day’s free travel.
Jenni Wilkinson, Head of Marketing, said: “As our loyal Glo customers get to work an extra day this month then we thought it only right that they get a day’s free travel.”
No purchase is necessary, only one free day per customer holding Glo cards circulating before February 26 and there is no cash alternative. The offer is only available at the times shown on February 29 at the Yellows’ town centre enquiry office.
