Yellows raise more than £800 in Olympic mufti day

Staff at Yellow Buses raised more than £800 after holding an Olympics ‘mufti’ day.

Union flags were very much to the fore as drivers, head office staff and managers celebrated the 2012 Olympics.

The bus company was already in sporting mood after one of its drivers, Ray Jones, carried the Olympic torch through Bournemouth.

Jenni Wilkinson, Yellow Buses’ Head of Marketing, said: “As always, our staff rose to the occasion and donned all types of wacky outfits for the mufti day.”

A total of £840 was raised, including a company contribution, which is to be donated to Beat Cancer Bournemouth.
