Yellow Buses announces changes to No 21 service

Yellow Buses is making changes to its route between Burton and Bournemouth town centre after listening to the comments and suggestions from passengers.

Those using Yellow Buses’ service 21 will find that the timetable has been altered slightly to improve punctuality.

Changes will be introduced from Sunday, March 3, and passengers are advised to check the new timetables.

The service, which operates Monday to Sunday including bank holidays, will have many journeys departing earlier during the day.

Importantly, the 07:28 and 08:34 school services will now be departing from Burton’s Salisbury Road/Campbell Road stop at 07:25 and 08:25 respectively.

Jenni Wilkinson, Yellow Buses’ Head of Marketing, said: “We listened to our passengers who use this service and carried out a review.

“These minor changes are designed to make service 21 more punctual.

“Many of the inbound and outbound journeys between Burton and Bournemouth will be departing earlier throughout the day.

“Passengers are being asked to check the new timetables which can be downloaded from our website.”
