Colleagues at Yellow Buses took part in a World Cup ‘mufti day’, dressing in the colours of countries around the world.
They raised a total of £889.53 and the money will go towards battling cancer.
Beat Cancer Bournemouth, which Alex helped found just over two years ago, has raised about £15,000 so far.
He said: “I’m very grateful to colleagues who dressed up for the ‘mufti day’ despite the fact that England had already been knocked out of the World Cup.
“Every penny of the money will go towards beating cancer that affects so many people.”
Jenni Wilkinson, Yellow Buses’ Head of Marketing, said: “As always, our staff rose to the occasion and donned all types of wacky outfits for the mufti day.”
