Wheels meet again

Purple-clad Festival Makers who ensure Bournemouth’s Wheels Festival is a success will be using Yellow Buses to get around.

The company is the official transport provider for the volunteers who will oil the wheels of the festival to make everything run smoothly.

Additional buses will also be provided to help the tens of thousands of visitors get around the town.

Yellow Buses are encouraging everyone to ‘Use our Wheels to get there’ – and are anticipating a bumper weekend.

The company’s website has a page of details about what’s happening and how to get there and its social media team will be updating its Twitter and Facebook accounts with news.

Jenni Wilkinson, Yellows’ Head of Marketing, said: “Being a bus company we had to get involved with a festival called ‘Wheels’ and we want everyone to ‘Use our Wheels to get there’.

“We’ll be making sure the Festival Makers are where they need to be, when they need to be there and, wherever possible, extra services are being laid on so visitors get around as easily too.

“Our Customer Service Centre in the Bournemouth Square will be open all day Friday and on Saturday morning and staff will be selling travel products.”

The Festival runs from Friday May 29 to Sunday 31 and includes Monster trucks, supercars and classic cars among a host of other highlights.
