Buses and Tourism + Tourism and Buses = A great experience

A day out yesterday saw me traversing Waterloo Bridge from the Rail station to a meeting and what a wonderful view, which just needs a share

A great view from Waterloo Bridge

A great view from Waterloo Bridge

I was there to listen to a presentation by  #visitengland and to discuss how buses and tourism can work more closely together not just in our own beautiful part of the country but across the whole of the UK

We’ll keep you updated with how that goes, it’s clear we have some work to do to change perceptions of how buses are viewed, it is easy here in our Fabulous Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch to see just how simply travelling by bus can fit with ease into your holiday as well as your everyday life, now we need to get that understanding out to a wider audience.

I dawdled a little on the way as there is always so much to look at when you are in London and if you just rush along everywhere you can miss some good bits, so I loved it when I turned the corner and found this, it seems like we aren’t the only budding Poets bringing art in the form of words to our streets

Poets on the Go

There are days when all I would like to read are Blue Elephants

In the meantime

See you on the buses
