Why is the route different when I search 10 minutes later?

Each route is calculated on the exact time you request. This means that another time of day may give you a better route to your destination. This could mean leaving earlier or later.

What do I do if I find a problem with the route Journey Planner has suggested?

At any time you can provide feedback by clicking the feedback button on the search results. This will capture the search you made and alongside your comments will allow us to pinpoint why the system thought that would be a good route for you. From here we can make adjustments to improve the results.

Do the results take traffic problems into consideration?

No, the routes are calculated based on the timetabled information. No data is live, but you can take a look at up to the minute Yellow Buses travel information here and by following us on Twitter and Facebook.

Can I look at the timetables and routes as a PDF, like I used to?

The information is still available in the old format too. Just visit the Timetables & Maps section, select the route you’re after and click ‘View PDF’ from the toolbar.
